Core Umbrella
In short, an umbrella company is a standard UK limited company which acts as an employer to its contractor employees. Contractors are employed using an “overarching” contract of employment, meaning our contractors are eligible to work anywhere in the UK whilst remaining employed by us. Core then provides a payroll service, processes all timesheets and submits payroll to HMRC in real time; lastly providing a payslip to our workers at the end of each payment period.
Core CIS
As an Umbrella Company, we provide a CIS payroll service for all eligible self-employed contractors in the construction industry. We will complete an SDC assessment to ensure you are eligible to be paid via our CIS solution, keeping you and your agency safe from any unwanted HMRC attention.
Core Joint Employment
Core are proud to be able to offer a compliant joint employment model to genuinely VAT exempt model for Recruitment Agencies. Our joint employment model means there is no supply for VAT purposes between joint employers, solving cash flow problems for businesses supplying workers.
Core Accountancy
Using a limited company usually means you will take home around 18% more than by using an umbrella solution however not everybody is eligible to operate their own limited company and setting up a limited company can seem daunting.
